Game Development Officer(s) – North Qld (Central & Northern)

Part Time: (25 hours per week)
Contract: February – December 2022. Reviewed annually
Location(s): Central Zone (Townsville) | Northern Zone (Cairns)

Reporting to the QTF Participation & Pathways Manager and working closely with the NQ Operations Manager, the Game Development Officer is responsible for driving overall growth in North Queensland through:

  • The effective and efficient delivery of services to affiliated organisations within the region/area;
  • Development and implementation of participation strategies
  • Delivery of technical courses to affiliates and schools
  • High level communication and support to the volunteer network and identified stakeholders of Touch Football

QTF Events Manager (Full Time)

We are looking for an experience events professional with a passion, knowledge and background in delivery quality events and experiences. An exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise working with a leading state sporting organisation in Queensland Touch Football.

The QTF Events Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading the delivery of quality events that form part of the Queensland Touch Football events portfolio;
  • Identification and creation of new event, commercial partner and event attraction opportunities; and
  • Activation and delivery of event and partner rights and benefits through events.

Your organisational skills, drive and vision will assist our organisation in amplifying brand visibility through events, enhancing stakeholder relations, improving the growth and visibility of touch football through events exposure, and effectively delivering our business strategy.

Competition Manager – Premier & City Touch (Full Time)

Queensland Touch Football is looking for a highly organised Competition Manager responsible for providing leadership and operational support in the delivery of Premier and City Touch competitions.

To excel in this role, you will need to be motivated to inspire and lead the team to make changes to improve, develop and grow the business. You will have excellent people skills, enjoy working in a small team environment and have a desire to engage with customers and staff, while regularly attending competition venues in evenings.

Reporting to the Sport Operations Manager, you will oversee staff including Competition Administrator, Referees Development Officer and Venue Organisers and you will be responsible for –

  • Competition management oversight ensuring the ongoing promotion, improvement and development of competitions and events.
  • Competition review and season planning, including the timely delivery of marketing plan and activations across each competition season and venue,
  • Business development and growth opportunities to revitalise and develop competition and venue offerings to maximise capacity of existing venues.
  • Developing and maintain relationships with key venue stakeholders, venue organisers,  referees,  team managers and players.

The role is suitable for a motivated individual with 2-4 years experience in competition management, events and/or program management
