The sport is one of Queensland’s most popular participation sports, with over 7,500 teams and 80,000+ players participating annually in affiliated and commercial competitions from Thursday Island and Weipa to Rockhampton, Brisbane, and Bilambil.

Game Development Officer(s) – Central Queensland (Full-Time & Part-Time)

We are looking for organized, energetic, self-starters with a knowledge and passion for touch football. You will be an excellent communicator and enjoy teaching skills, running programs and assisting in the development of our players, coaches and officials of the future.

Full Time: Rockhampton and Surrounds
Contract: Immediate Start – December 2023.

Part Time: Bundaberg/Gladstone and Surrounds
Contract: Immediate Start – December 2022. Reviewed annually.

Reporting to the QTF Development Manager and Sport Operations Manager, and working closely with the Region, the Game Development Officer is responsible for driving overall participation growth in Central Queensland through

  • The effective and efficient delivery of services to affiliated organisations within the region/area;
  • Development and implementation of participation strategies
  • Delivery of technical courses to affiliates and schools
  • High level communication and support to the volunteer network and identified stakeholders of Touch Football

Part Time: Average 25 hours per week
Contract: Immediate Start – December 2022. Reviewed annually
Location(s): Central Zone (Townsville) | Northern Zone (Cairns)

Reporting to the QTF Development Manager and Sports Operations Manager, and working closely with with the Region, the Game Development Officer is responsible for driving overall participation growth in North Queensland through:

  • The effective and efficient delivery of services to affiliated organisations within the region/area;
  • Development and implementation of participation strategies
  • Delivery of technical courses to affiliates and schools
  • High level communication and support to the volunteer network and identified stakeholders of Touch Football
