Queensland Touch Football (QTF) is a member organisation of Touch Football Australia (TFA) and benefits from strategic partnerships with both the National Rugby League (NRL) and Queensland Rugby League (QRL). Touch Football is one of Queensland’s most popular participation sports, with over 185,000 participants engaging in the sport annually through affiliates, school competitions and events.

QTF governs six regions and 80 affiliated associations across the state and is responsible for the leadership and management of competitions, representative pathways, events, game development and participation.

Queensland Touch Football – Events Manager Opportunity

Queensland Touch Football (QTF) are seeking a dynamic Brisbane-based Events Manager (Full-Time) to join our passionate QTF team.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of Queensland’s premier touch football events while contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the sport across the state.

The Event Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of QTF’s events portfolio, including major state competitions and representative events. The Events Manager will lead event planning, operations, logistics, stakeholder engagement, budget management and event evaluation to ensure exceptional experiences for participants, officials, volunteers, partners and spectators.

You will lead the Events team to deliver high-quality events and work collaboratively across the organisation and wider touch football community. The role focuses on building strong relationships with affiliates, venues, local councils, suppliers, sponsors and key stakeholders while continuously improving event delivery, participant experience and commercial outcomes.

This position is ideally suited to a highly organised and motivated event professional with strong project management skills, a passion for sport and a proven ability to deliver complex events in a fast-paced environment.
