After a year away and a close call from a looming 4-day lockdown, the hype and atmosphere for this year’s QLD Touch Football’s 2021 Junior State Cup has only built up! It has been an action-packed 3-day event with 189 teams from all over our beautiful state coming together to celebrate our Junior Athletes.

We would firstly like to thank our partners for their support throughout the event: Fraser Coast Regional Council, Inferno, fisiocrem, STEEDEN, DSA Images, Epic Medals, CSF College of Sports and Fitness, Eckoo, The Fit Lab, Hygiene Systems, All Sports Travel, and the Hervey Bay Touch Association for their continued assistance with the event.

The LED media truck powered by Eckoo was a great hit this year, it allowed spectators to relax and watch the coverage live from Vendor City. Players and parents were well looked after by fisiocrem, and their on-site physiotherapists, and The Fit Lab’s cutting edge Normatec Recovery Pants. As always, the Inferno merchandise tent had a consistent queue with many of our athletes and spectators sporting the latest QLD apparel.

This year’s event is particularly special as Queensland Touch Football celebrated its 25th Junior State Cup and its 10th tournament in the beautiful Hervey Bay. 25 years of developing young talent certainly shows with some exceptional touch footy played over the three days! A huge thank you to all the affiliates, teams, players, coaches, referees, and volunteers. Your ongoing support, showmanship, and dedication to our great sport never go unnoticed.

Congratulations to all winners and players of the final.
