Queensland Membership
Queensland Touch Football (QTF) operates an individual annual membership model, aligned with Touch Football Australia’s (TFA) national membership structure and managed through MySideline.
Under this model, membership is no longer based on team affiliation or collected through individual competitions. Instead, participants complete a simple annual registration and payment directly via MySideline. This approach provides a more streamlined experience for members while reducing administrative burden on volunteers and competition organisers.
Previously, a portion of competition fees was collected each season and distributed across affiliate, regional, and state levels. This meant the more competitions a participant entered, the more they paid. The current model shifts to a more accessible ‘pay once, play often’ structure.
How it works
Membership with QTF mirrors the national structure, with MySideline managing registrations and payments.
Every individual player is required to pay an annual membership fee via MySideline when registering for a competition from 1 July each year.
The annual membership fee is $65.00, comprising:
$30.00 TFA National Membership
$35.00 QTF State Membership
(inclusive of GST and transaction fees)
Once paid, participants can register for multiple competitions throughout the membership year.
Affiliate competition fees still apply and are paid separately to cover the cost of delivering local competitions and venues.
Membership expires on 30 June each year, with renewal required prior to registering for a new competition.
Some regions may also apply a separate regional membership fee, which varies by location.
