Queensland Touch Football (QTF) advises the community of a cyber security incident involving a compromised email account. This resulted in unauthorised emails being sent to a number of contacts during the week.
A small number of recipients may have interacted with the email, and anyone with concerns is encouraged to contact QTF directly.
The issue was addressed immediately upon detection, and QTF continues to investigate the incident.
Community members who received an unexpected email from a QTF address containing a link or attachment are urged not to open, download or click on any content.
QTF reaffirms its commitment to regularly monitoring, reviewing and strengthening cyber security measures to help protect the privacy and security of the touch football community.
