Queensland Touch Football is excited to announce a weeklong ‘Festival of Touch’ on the Gold Coast in November 2020, thanks to the support of the City of Gold Coast.
The Festival of Touch concept has been created to invigorate, inspire and connect the touch football community in Queensland in response to the global pandemic, COVID-19 and its disruption on community events and competitions throughout the State.
The 10-day Festival, to be held 27 November – 6 December 2020, encompasses two flagship touch football events on the Queensland Touch Football (QTF) calendar, including the QLD State Cup and QLD All Nations, which are held on consecutive weekends on the Gold Coast.
The weeklong festival will also include professional development opportunities for administrators through the QLD Affiliate Conference (30 Nov), a Sports Performance Conference (1 Dec) for both the touch and sports enthusiast and a South East Queensland Schools Gala Day (3 Dec) to engage and excite local schools in touch football. If that is not enough, based on the picturesque Gold Coast, Touchies can take the opportunity to enjoy a holiday shared with family and friends. Read more here.
