Looking back on our greatest achievement in 2020!

The Festival of Touch was an ambitious concept and one our small team were glad to see the end of after an exhilarating and exhausting 10 days – not to mention all the work that took place in the lead up!

The Festival of Touch concept was created to invigorate, inspire and connect our touch football community in Queensland in response to the global pandemic, COVID-19 and its disruption on community events and competitions throughout the State.

The 10-day Festival, held 27 November – 6 December 2020, encompassed two of our flagship touch football events, including the QLD State Cup and QLD All Nations in addition to a South East Queensland Schools Gala Day and professional development opportunities including an Affiliate Conference and Sport Performance Conference.

As a non for profit organisation we are incredibly proud of our achievement, but we couldn’t have done it without the support of our major event partners, City of Gold Coast, Major Events Gold Coast and Tourism and Events Queensland and of course our touch community – THANK YOU!

Keep an eye out for information regarding what is occurring in 2021!
