Queensland Touch Football Awards
The Queensland Touch Football Awards celebrate and recognise the achievements of our volunteers, coaches, officials, administrators, organisations, teams and athletes who have contributed to Touch Football’s growth, development and success.
“The Queensland Touch Football Awards are always an amazing way to bring our community together and celebrate the best of our sport, and this year’s event will be no exception,” says QTF CEO, Greg Denny.
“On behalf of Queensland Touch Football, I extend a heartfelt congratulations to all of our award nominees and winners, our sport would not be what it is without you.” said Denny.
2024 Queensland Touch Football Awards Night
Held at the RACV Royal Pines resort, the 2024 Awards Night, saw participants from right across the state of Queensland coming together to celebrate an incredible year of Touch Football.
On the event, QTF CEO Greg Denny said he was blown away by the calibre of nominations across the award categories.
“Each year the QTF Awards Night showcases the passion our community has for Touch Football. The Awards Night is an something we are passionately proud about, and it is an honour to be able to host this occasion for all of our participants” Said Denny

The winner of Volunteer of the Year Award was Jason Forsyth from Redlands Touch Association.
Jason was recognised for his distinguished service to the Redlands Touch Association and through fostering his pride and passion for the club. Jason was particularly acknowledged for his forward-thinking approach, his humility, and his generous demeanour. As proof by Jason dedicating over 20 hours weekly to help increase participation for Touch Football
Speaking on his acknowledgement, Jason said: “I am incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by a passionate volunteer base who are all incredibly focused. Redlands is filled with a talented group of people who are always looking to give back to the club”
“It is an incredibly rewarding experience to be a part of such a talented community” He continued.
Junior Referee of The Year went to the Northern Gold Coast Touch Association’s Ashton Lowe. Ashton was lauded on the night for his dedication to the refereeing craft.
It is a big honour to win this, I have worked very hard to work to an achievement like this, and is something I am incredibly proud of” Ashton said.
The 2024 QTF Awards Night celebrated 22 winners from 142 nominations. Categories included player of the year, referee of the year, community programs, coaching and affiliates.
