Referee development and performance play a vital role in Queensland Touch Football’s (QTF) vision to create a culture and environment that provides opportunities for all people to thrive through their touch football experience.
As the governing body for Touch in Queensland, QTF is responsible for the appointment of the QTF State Panel and Referee Management Team. This technical arm is responsible for the education, training and development of touch football referees in Queensland. The Team oversees a set of policies and guidelines that supports the progression of referees and ensures the technical arm remains relevant and aligned with QTF’s vision and delivery of Referee Services and Development.
QTF is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified individuals to apply for the following:
Referee Management Team Portfolios (2 year appointment, with a 2 year option):
o Coaching/Assessment
o Sport Performance
o Junior Development
o Referee Upgrade
Referee Manager(2 year appointment, with a 2 year option)
State Referee Panel Members (2 year appointment)
JETS Coordinator(2 year appointment)
The Referee Management Team and State Referee Panel is a panel of dedicated volunteers that is critical to the development of referees, ensuring ongoing development and success of the Referee discipline.
