As we begin to see the return to normality, Sport Australia has released its Term 3 Sporting Schools application for funding dates!
Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children’s participation in Sport and connect them with community sporting opportunities.
QTF is conscious that the operating environment for schools has changed significantly and is continuing to change. The Sporting School’s program will closely follow the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Framework for Rebooting Sport in a COVID-19 Environment.
QTF has implemented a COVID-19 Safety Plan which includes strict hygiene and social distancing protocols to ensure a safe environment.
If you are a teacher or part of a school faculty and are interested in delivering a Touch Football program at your school, you can apply for government funding at your school.
Applications will open for Term 3 on Monday 15 June and will close on Friday 26 June. Visit https://sportingschools.gov.au/funding to apply.
