Touch Football Australia (TFA) is the governing body for the sport in the country. The TFA Affiliate Membership Regulations provide the framework and outlines ways associations or entities can become members, be aligned and/or be recognised by TFA and Queensland Touch Football (QTF).
As the State Sporting Organisation for Touch Football in Queensland, QTF is responsible for the delivery of Affiliated Touch Football and for the implementation of the TFA Affiliate Membership Regulations.
There are various models of affiliation available to Associations from full competition delivery models through to organised program delivery.

| Term Touch | Affiliation of regular Touch Football competitions.
