What schools need to know

Referees
Each team provides one duty referee per game, and they stay for the whole day. A player can referee for another team in a different division.
Uniforms
Matching uniforms with numbered shirts. School colours are preferred, but club uniforms are fine. Teams play in bare feet or safe enclosed shoes.
Water safety
No one registered for the event enters the water during the event. A Surf Life Saving / QTF safety briefing opens the day.
Child safeguarding
Anyone coaching, managing, supervising or transporting students must hold a valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
Tents & shade
Tents are welcome. Email your event contact with the tent size. Spots are allocated and sent out with the draw.
First aid
Qualified first aid staff and a first aid tent are on site all day.
Weather
The event runs under the TFA Wet Weather & Electrical Storm, Extreme Heat and Air Quality guidelines.
Photography
QTF will photograph and film the event for promotion. Note any students who shouldn't be photographed in the Media Release section of the team registration sheet. It's a public beach, so the public may take photos too.
Withdrawals & refunds
No refunds for teams withdrawing after Monday 2 November.
