Two big events for the touch community, one date to lock in.
Every season, touch football in Queensland is built by thousands of people who rarely get the spotlight. Some keep things running behind the scenes, some turn up on cold weeknights, and some simply make sure game day happens.
On the last day of November, many of those people will find themselves in the same place. By day, the QTF Conference fills the room with ideas, big questions and conversations about where the game goes next. By night, the QTF Awards turn the spotlight on the people who carried it this year. They're two very different events with one thing in common: a community that's passionately proud of its sport.
Grow the game
The QTF Conference is for anyone who helps touch happen, whether you run a club, sit on a committee, coach a team, teach a class or simply love the sport.
The best ideas in touch rarely come from one person. They come from people comparing notes across clubs, regions and roles, and from hearing how someone else tackled the same problem. The Conference puts those people in the same room for a day and lets the conversations do the rest.
Under this year's theme, Passionately Proud, it's a chance to step back from the week-to-week and remember why we do it, and where we can take it next.

The QTF Awards are our night of all nights: cocktail attire on, lights down, and the touch community in one room.
This is our chance to say thank you, out loud and on stage, to the volunteers, coaches, officials, administrators, athletes and clubs who give so much to the game. Some have been at it for decades. Some are just getting started. All of them are the reason Queensland touch is thriving.
It's a night to share stories, toast big seasons and recognise the work that usually happens quietly on the sidelines.

Ask anyone why they give their time to touch and you’ll rarely hear about trophies. You’ll hear about the kid who found their confidence, the first game that turned into a lifelong love of the sport or the friendships made on the sideline. The Conference and Awards exist for exactly those stories.
