Queensland Touch Football (QTF) are proud to announce former NRL, Queensland Maroons, Kangaroos, and avid Touch Football lover, Scott Prince will continue to be the face of Touch Football in Queensland.

The 2005 NRL Premiership winner, established his love of the game on the touch footy fields in Mt Isa and has continued to pursue this passion for touch football and Queensland into his retirement. Prince who originally signed on as a brand ambassador in 2018, has worked alongside the team to deliver quality promotional material, provide vital media influence and insights, supported our partners, and participated in our events.

“Scott’s approachable nature and passionate love of the game, make him an ideal ambassador,” said Brittany Monaghan, Queensland Touch Football marketing manager. “In my time of working with him, I have seen his dedication and love of grassroots footy, and the kids who meet him at an event, absolutely light up; they can’t wait for a classic Princey field-side interview.”

“It’s a pleasure to be continuing with my ambassador role with Queensland Touch Football, Prince said. Promoting the game, I have loved since I was a young fella growing up in Mount Isa is an honour. I look forward to encouraging, inspiring, and highlighting the wonderful work that our many athletes, coaches, volunteers, and partners do across our great game”.

Scott Prince will be attending our next event, the Junior State Cup in Hervey Bay at the exciting new Fraser Coast Sports Precinct from 7 – 9 July 2022.
