Fusitu’a attended Kelston Boys High School and played junior football for Marist Saints.
He was signed by the NZ Warriors as a 17-year-old and played in the team that lost the 2013 NYC final.
Represented NZ 18s in 2011, and Junior Kiwis at 2012 & 2013. Was part of the train-on squad for Tonga’s 2013 World Cup squad, but was not selected.
Fusitu’a made his first-grade debut in 2014, missed most of 2015 through injury and has now made 33 appearances for the club.
He was selected for the Kiwis’ 2016 Four Nations campaign, made his debut against Scotland and was promoted to the starting line-up for the final against Australia.
