Fusitu’a attended Kelston Boys High School and played junior football for Marist Saints.
He was signed by the NZ Warriors as a 17-year-old and played in the team that lost the 2013 NYC final.
Represented NZ 18s in 2011, and Junior Kiwis at 2012 & 2013. Was part of the train-on squad for Tonga’s 2013 World Cup squad, but was not selected.
Fusitu’a made his first-grade debut in 2014, missed most of 2015 through injury and has now made 33 appearances for the club.
He was selected for the Kiwisâ€™ 2016 Four Nations campaign, made his debut against Scotland and was promoted to the starting line-up for the final against Australia.
